DESCRIPTION

In order to give honor and recognition for the hard work of our YFL Servant Leaders and Couple Coordinators, we will have our YFL Awards Night on the second day of the World Youth Congress.

The YFL Awards are the highest recognition from the CFC YFL Ministry. These are presented to young men and women for their outstanding leadership and service to the community and to the Church.

 

ELIGIBILITY

Each area is invited to choose outstanding YFL Servant Leaders and Couple Coordinators to receive the awards. Any YFL Servant Leader and Couple Coordinator are eligible for nomination.

 

AWARDS AND CRITERIA

The YFL Awards are as follows:

 

Most Inspiring YFL Brother

This award is given to a YFL brother, who is a servant leader of the community. The criteria for nomination:

  • He is committed to the YFL Covenant of following Christ, building a strong Christian family, being a committed and active YFL member, and witnessing God’s love;
  • He faithfully attends households and trainings;
  • He is fully involved in planning and implementing pastoral formation within his area;
  • He has given his all for the sake of the mission;
  • He is a model student both academically and in living the student lifestyle; and
  • He faithfully participates in the GIG Program.

 

Most Inspiring YFL Sister

This award is given to a YFL sister, who is a servant leader of the community. The criteria for nomination:

  • She is committed to the YFL Covenant of following Christ, building a strong Christian family, being a committed and active YFL member, and witnessing God’s love;
  • She faithfully attends households and trainings;
  • She is fully involved in planning and implementing pastoral formation withinhis area;
  • She has given his all for the sake of the mission;
  • She is a model student both academically and in living the student lifestyle; and
  • She faithfully participates in the GIG Program.

 

Most Inspiring YFL Couple Coordinator

This award is given to a YFL Couple Coordinator. The criteria for nomination:

  • They are committed to the CFC FFL Covenant of following Christ, building a strong Christian family, being a committed and active YFL member, and witnessing God’s love;
  • They faithfully attend CFC FFL households and YFL coordinators trainings;
  • They are fully involved in planning and implementing pastoral formation within their area—households, assemblies, trainings; and
  • They fully support and promote the GIG Program in their area.

 

Model Parish (Chapter)

This award is given to the Chapter through the Chapter Servants and Chapter Couple Coordinators. The criteria for nomination:

  • The Chapter has servant leaders and couple coordinators, who attend households and trainings;
  • The Chapter conducts regular households, chapter assemblies, and chapter-level trainings;
  • The Chapter has conducted the Basic Pastoral Formation in their area—Youth Camps, Covenant Recollection, Family Enrichment Recollection, Purpose Driven Activity, and Friendship Evangelism Challenge;
  • The Chapter has conducted E-Projects and LCSC Activities;
  • The Chapter has at least 100 members; and
  • The Chapter participates in the GIG Program.

 

Model Campus

This award is given to the Campus area through the Campus President and Senior Sister. The criteria for nomination:

  • CFC YFL Campus is a recognized organization in the said school;
  • The Campus conducts regular households, assemblies/ meetings, and program trainings;
  • The Campus has a complete set of officers, who attends households and program trainings;
  • The Campus has conducted E-Projects and LCSC Activities;
  • The Campus has at least 100 members with at least 4 households; and
  • The Campus participates in the GIG Program.

 

Model High School

This award is given to the High School area through the High School President and Vice President. The criteria for nomination:

  • CFC YFL High School is a recognized club and/or organization in the said school;
  • The High School Club conducts regular households, club assemblies and meetings, and program trainings;
  • The High School Club has a complete set of officers, who attends households and program trainings;
  • The High School Club has conducted E-Projects and LCSC Activities;
  • The High School Club has at least 30 active club members; and
  • The High School Club participates in the GIG Program.

 

Nomination Process

1. Any YFL Member or Couple Coordinator is allowed to give his/her nomination.

2. Nomination forms must be completely filled out and emailed to <email@mfcyouth.org>, with the subject: “YFL AWARDS 2016 NOMINATION”, on

or before March 14, 2016.

3. One nomination form per vote.

 

Recognition

The awards will be given during the YFL Awards Night, which will be led by our National

Ministry Coordinator.
