This WYC 2025 marks my 25th year as a member of this community & my 10th year as Couple Coordinator. I graduated in my Youth Camp on May 2000.
During the WYC 2025 Praisefest, it all came back to me. It was the very 1st conference I attended. It was an open field, it was raining and we kneeled on the bareground. That was the first time I raised my hand to worship our God and cried out loud, thanking and praising Him. It seems I haven’t aged; I feel like I am still that same youth in the open field.
There was one time I whispered to God that I wanted to become a Couple Coordinator and He answered it when we were just 30 years old. It was not easy because we were too young and had no experience in raising a child. Many times we attempted to quit but God had His own way of making us stay. Thanks to those people who did not give up on us.
Now, as we see our Youth servants crying out loud and praising God, I can fully understand why God didn’t want us to quit because He wanted me/us to continue the journey not as a youth member, but as a second parent to His future servants.
