Humans as we are, we tend to be perfectionists. We plan and prioritize because we want to have a glimpse of what will happen in the future. We want to have a grasp of what’s ahead so that we will get what we want and enjoy our lives.
But the question is, do we consult everything with the Lord? Do we want God to know the nitty-gritty details of our concerns and intentions? Do we really want Him to get involved in our lives?
All of these depend on our view of the Lord. Who is the Lord for you? How important is He important in your life?
Tito Frank explained this through the story of Saul on his Youtube video entitled, “Questioning the Lord.” He pointed out two things – who Jesus Christ is to us and what God wants us to do.
If we call on Jesus, we should know who He is, and this will let us recognize how great He is in our lives, and how He wants to show us His love and mercy. If we tend to ask the Lord questions, we should also be ready to act according to what He is asking from us. We should have the courage to repent and have faith in God. If we want to follow Him, we should strive to be Holy Warriors every single day. If we want Him to be revealed to us, we should learn to appreciate and be grateful for what we have and where we are – in His presence.
Living this kind of life is truly hard. It would take everything from us. It will strip us from all our attachments here on Earth so that we could focus on the Lord and His love and blessings for us.
The year is about to end but the question still remains – do you let God be God in your life? I hope you do! Are you willing to obey Him? I hope you are! God bless!
