Metro Manila and South Luzon. — 1 week. 11 houses. 2 regions. 13 districts. 45 speakers. 161 servants who are made radical.
The Summer House Training (SHOUT) is a week-long training and pastoral formation for all cluster servants. This year, it happened right after the Holy Week; from April 21 to 26, 2014. It is a week of worship, discipleship, and fellowship.
Parañaque, Novaliches, and Manila districts, nicknamed as ParaNoMa, form one household with Kuya Leo Feliciano and Ate M.E. Asejo as SHOUT servants for the brothers and sisters respectively. While the districts of Pasig, Antipolo, and Cubao, also called as PasAnCu, form another set of separate houses for brothers and sisters with Kuya Richard Repolona and Ate Tenten Hubac as SHOUT servants.
The districts of Lucena and Rizal, nicknamed as Luce-Rizal, form one SHOUT house with Kuya Regie Javier as the SHOUT servant. The districts of Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas form one houses each with Kuya James Adres, Kuya Jopo Ciolo, and Kuya Michael Caiga as SHOUT servants respectively.
YFL programs such as Campus-based and High school-based also had their summer house trainings. The Campus-based attendees are the Presidents, Executive Vice Presidents, and Senior Sisters of the campuses. And the High school-based attendees are the High School Program Servants of the different districts.
The Summer House Training culminated with a Parents Night, a night of celebration and honouring of families who committed to love and serve the Lord. The Parents Night had but one message and that is to inspire families to declare, “As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD” (cf. Joshua 24:15). Amazing how the Lord spoke, inspired, and empowered one sixty one of his sons and daughters together with their families.
The YFL Team would like to thank those who shared their houses for the SHOUT; to those who made themselves available in sharing their love and knowledge of the Lord through the different training workshops and sessions; and to those who prayed and supported the whole program.
May the Lord bless us!
