The first-ever High School BEAT was celebrated last Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Olympia Sports Complex, Makati City, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Different high school students from all over the Metro attended numbering to around 200.

The event started with a prayer led by RJ Joquico, club president of CFC YFL – LSM. It was followed by the BEAT 2013 chant, which was taught to everyone who attended. Then the opening production by the YFL DC and JBand.

There were also fun booths; all are Minute-To-Win-It inspired games for the high school students to play and enjoy. A photobooth was also set up, together with a DJ booth. The “Human Bingo” game was also played were eight high school students won.

Attendees were also given airtime to perform and share their God-given talents through the renowned iSikat segment. A series of magic tricks were also performed by our party guests, Cyrell and Jarren.

The event ended with a pep talk given by Kuya Julius Eguia, High School-based Program Head. He talked about the BEAT of our life as high school students. And that is none other than Jesus Christ himself. After the pep talk was a worship led by Jocas Javier, YFL Mission Volunteer. He led everyone present to worship the Lord and prayed for all the high school students.
