Kalibo, Aklan. — CFC YFL and CFC SFL took part at the biennial National Conference of Youth Minsiters (NCYM) 2014 last October 20 to 24, 2014 at Kalibo, Aklan. It is a gathering of youth ministers coming from the different dioceses and youth organizations in the Philippines organized by the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Youth (CBCP-ECY).

The conference started with a Mass presided by His Excellency, The Most Reverend Bishop Jose Corazon Tala-oc, DD, Bishop of Kalibo. He also gave the opening remarks after that day’s dinner.

The conference had two plenaries: (1) Youth ministry, the year of the laity and year of the poor and (2) The results of the National Filipino Catholic Youth Survey 2013.

NCYM 2014 also had a lot of workshops to enhance and empower the youth ministers. Our National Coordinator, Kuya Dylan Reyes, gave a workshop entitled Missionary 24/7.

At the last fellowship night, Kuya RJ Moriones led the whole assembly into worship, exhorting everyone to be faithful and true to their call as youth ministers.
