Ever powerful Lord,
“I wanna be Your hands and feet, be Your voice every time I speak, I wanna run to the ones in need.” This simple line really can transform a person not exactly 180, but I know it’s starting. Lord, thank you because I was able to attend this year’s World Youth Congress held in Baguio. For 3 days, I experienced God, so different from what I used to. I was able to meet thousands of youth having the same conviction, to share the faith, and to proclaim the Word of God. We’re all aiming to be like this and like that, but each session, I was able to encourage myself to become a Medical doctor, a Saint, a Martyr, and be part of God’s army.
We are called to stood up and be radical witnesses. For me, God is here and will be always by my side whatever ups or downs I happen to experience. Whatever challenges it may bring, I know it empowers and strengthen me to be a witness of your unending glory. This WYC, thousands of my brothers and sisters stood up to this faith even though others struggled just to be there.
Love, this is the main reason why we’re doing this. You love us, you endured everything, you died for the sake of our salvation. I know, what we’re doing “is not enough, and will never be enough” this inspires me to let others feel how you love them even though they feel alone. I will let them feel that you are always there fighting, and enduring everything for the sake of what we call LOVE.
Father, thank you that you have revealed Your love to us. We invite You to send us out from here in the power of the Holy Spirit. The flame of faith you have given and strengthened. Inspire us everyday by revealing Your grace to us each day. For Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever.
